Yeah, that was "30" fps. The other two are supposedly at "60" but are more like 45. The compression does bad things to fast moving objects, and this game has a lot of them.

Now you can take Super Hexagon everywhere you go! Causing everyone to ask "What the hell are you playing?" as you sit with your portable epileptic seizure hazard.

I haven't finished any of the last four either. I fire up the game every once in a while to try, and then to make sure that I'm not getting worse and can still do the first two.

I wish there was a way to see how many hours of gameplay it took some of these players to beat those last four levels. I like to think that I'm usually ahead of the curve with this kind of stuff, but at ~9 hours and counting, I'm starting to wonder.

Some Steam achievements are awfully suspect though (like, I suspect some sort of cheating involved). BIT.TRIP RUNNER is a good example. I HIGHLY doubt that all four of the "PERFECT" achievements are earned by the exact same percentage of players. ZONE 2, in particular, is incredibly easy to PERFECT.

Referring to the last 4 achievements on this list:

I'm at about 9 hours now, and you're still a good 16 seconds further through hexagonest than me. Though I managed to get to 48 seconds on hexagon hyper mode.

I made a lot of progress these past 2 nights!

Beat Hexagonest, Hyper Hexagon, and Hyper Hexagoner. ONE MORE LEVEL TO GO AND IT'S GIVING ME AN ANEURYSM.

I tried Hyper Hexagoner and it didn't seem to be significantly harder than Hyper Hexagon Hexagonest. But if Super Hexagonest is the same difficulty jump as Hexagoner to Hexagonest was, then that's going to be tough.

It seems like after you reach Hexagonest that the difficulty jumps significantly. I guess once you pass that barrier the other levels are a bit easier, eh?

I'll be honest, I don't really understand what you're saying. "Hyper Hexagon Hexagonest"? "Super Hexagonest"? Either you or I need to take another look at what those difficulty levels are actually called. I'm getting lost. LOL

Anyway, yeah, my biggest problem with Hexagonest was 1) when everything just started spinning REALLY fast and was very disorientating and 2) knowing when to stop when you enter that spiral pattern where you just hold one direction and you'll be fine - although it looks super trippy. I found that focusing completely on the arrow for both of these segments helped me get through them. Hyper Hexagoner was actually incredibly easy. It's just faster and looks like it's always on an angle. I never really gave it a proper go because I wanted to beat the levels in sequence (which didn't end up happening).
