I doubt that... it still has to run on hardware from 2005 (xbox 360).

Yeah, the current generation of consoles are due for an upgrade, but nobody seems to realize it.

are u sure that they aren't updating the pc version colby? they do that for most games nowadays to work with dx 11 n what not. u never really know what's going to happen seeing as though we still have like 10 months to wait.

I know eh? It's like every one forgot to design a new generation of consoles. the 360 is sooooo old now!

Of course the PC version will have better graphics, but on the whole they'll probably hold back texture sizes and nicer effects based on the weakest system. And likely the interface will be crippled a bit on the PC version (as it was with Fallout 3/New Vegas and to a lesser extent, Oblivion).

i dunno chez, i really doubt that the interface will be crippled, seeing as though it is based on an entirely new engine. how was the interface crippled in f3, fnv, or oblivion? i've tried fnv with the xbox controller but the keyboard/mouse are a lot better in my opinion.

i also doubt they will weaken the textures and effects based on the xbox for pc, because quite frankly, the elderscrolls have always been basically pc games.

There were a bunch of minor issues that added up and really bugged me. If you changed your controls, the "take all" and "done" type quick buttons were in very awkward to reach places (I think you know my control scheme, but my hand gets moved to the opposite side of the keyboard). They could have had them associated with the specific actions that those keys had rather than the keys themselves so you wouldn't have to move your hand all around the keyboard.

Plus it was all quite slow to react to your inputs (and this wasn't limited to the interface). The FPS portion of the new Fallout games really bugged me because of this lag, it wasn't "tight" at all. Fortunately, the RPG parts were good enough to make me look past these flaws. This slowness wasn't as obvious in Oblivion.

They limited Fallout 3's texture sizes for the PC version. Go shove your face into a wall (or even just examine it) and you'll see how blurry it is. Do the same in say, Team Fortress 2 and it'll probably look better (as in, not blurry).
